Great App but crashes ALL the time…. on my mac… I have the non purchased app on the iPad and works ok.. on computer not so good…. Update: Upgraded to ElCapitan. Uninstalled. Reinstalled and nolonger receive the message that ‘sandbox’ can’t be created. Was routinely getting crashes on exit… have exited 2 times with NO crash message. Update 2: Is still crashing on exit on the MAC Today crashed and completely hung computer… I had to perform a hard shut down to resolve… I would not purchase this app until issues resolved… Update 3: Now is hanging My Mac Computer… I would not purchase… and if I could would request my money back on the purchase I made….
I’ve been working with stock trading idea-generation software for 15 years and Stocktouch is really excellent. Adding the Hot List and our own 9 Watchmaps doubles it’s utility. I find more interesting ways to glean information from the app every day.
Don’t get me wrong this is a good app. There are just a few things it needs before it’s a great app. As far as features go I have no complaints but it would be great if the app was updated to work more seamlessly with OS X. I’m running El Capitan on a rMBP13 and the top of the screen gets clipped if I go fullscreen. This isn’t too much of an issue but the ability to fill my screen is more appealing than the default 7/8ths of the desktop it’s chosen for me. And if I gesture to zoom in to a company it picks one a fews rows off. The overall feel of the app is fine but if it were updated with a more modern UI, that tied in better with OS X, it would feel less like a ported iPad app from years past. If it was a free app it would be one thing but having paid for it an update to a more seamless experience is in need.
Purchased this app off the editor’s choice rating. Works well, with the exception of full screen, which will not allow you to use the icons on the right to navigate, only the menu bar functions. This is a deal breaker…Why have a 27” retina iMac if you cannot use the app in full screen? Can someone please fix this? Otherwise, it is a beautifully designed app.
