StockTouch is a great app with a lot of promise. Easy to navigate, easy to configure, lots of financial/trading data - including company summaries and recent news articles, and a very responsive development team that will bend over backwards to address any issues. The addition of a live feed and some additional charting options - like Bollinger Bands, WMA, MACD, and Parabolic SAR in a candlestick format - are all this app needs to push it to the top.

Buyer beware…. The application crashes on launching on a MacBook Pro with Retina running OSX 10.9.5 How do I get a refund?

I am an active investor/trader and this app helps me to do industry wide market reasearch and choose the best stocks to buy. I really like the interface an the way it gives you information on industry wide and individual stock performance.

Giant useless black screen on Yosemite. Claims compatibility with 10.8+. Do not buy.

Customer service was extremely responsive (emailed them and was in contact with a real person right away). The app itself is simple and informative, provides a good market overview. For 5 bucks I think its worth it. Suggestion: having a few basic charting options would be great (bollinger bands etc…)

Probably want to hold off buying this until (hopefully) they fix it… Isn’t it interesting how Apple is more than happy to take one’s money (for a non-functioning app) and not have a policy that allows for refunds.

I bought this app because I loved their iOS app on iPad and iPhone. I was disappointed with my purchase. The graphics arent as good as iOS devices, as it isnt optimized for the mac. It is very glitchy, fails to download the stock data multiple times. This can be easy fix for the developer. It would be great if developers would add options chain for the stocks as well.

This is a nice simple stock app for getting a quick take on the markets. It isn’t a pro tool per se, but its very effective at tracking a basket of stocks although I wish it was more customizable. It also can be buggy. For example, it doesn’t render properly when using a Retina screen and an external display. It’s like it is confused by the pixel scaling. I have to disconnect the external display to get it to work. This bug has existed for multiple versions, so would be nice to see it fixed. Otherwise, it’s a great concept and I recommend it to amateur and prosumer investors.

This app started crashing a few months ago. Cannot get it to start up at all :( DO NOT BUY!!

App used to be great but i notcied that it crashed upon launch on Yosemite. The developers need to update the program as people are paying money to buy this and they can’t even launch it. I have contacted the developer regarding this issue so lets see what happens. I encourage others to contact the app developer as well. Perhaps they need to gather more system config data to fix the issue. I will udpate my review once the issues have been fixed.

It does not work on the retina iMac, all the graphics are skewed and shifted left and screwed up

I was hesitant to purchase this app but it turns out to work quite well. It is just like the tablet version. There are still a few minor bugs to fix but nothing too serious and more importantly the current bugs do not get in the way of productivity.

This app loads to a black screen. You must close and restart a number of times before it loads properly. When it does load, the stock market data won’t refresh. I requested a refund from Apple.

Nice overview of sectors, individual stocks, volumes, trends - a lot of useful real-time info. Would like to be able to build out other sectors besides the ones listed. Also would like to be able to build out individual portfolios for tracking purposes. Hopefully, the builders are already considering this as a future addition. Great app though!! Definitely worth the price!

Can’t even use the app that I had to pay money for. App content is way off to the side and inaccessible on a MBP screen, even when full screening. I do not even have a retina display. Works great on my iPhone, the only reason that I am not trying to get a refund is because I hope it gets fixed. :(

Hands down the best stock app for Mac, so much information, kudos to the creator!

The app is hands down the best bang for your buck when it comes to stock applications on the OS X ecosystem. Not only that, but the customer service team is better than the customer service offered by Apple itself. I ran into some issues when I beta tested Yosemite, but after one email to their customer service team, they were able to fix my problem and send me a new, running copy of the app. Great throughout with this application.

This is a must have app for iPhone if you are a stock trader or investor. Simply amazing. However, on OS X, nothing really works correctly, especially if you have an external display. Buttons don’t work right, the geometry is off, it’s very furstrating. One thing to point out is, the developer must add a symbol to their database before it will be available via either of their apps. This is a ittle annoying if you want to track new stocks whch have not been added yet.

I filed a suport request months ago with Visiable Market and the confirmed they have a bug where app does not work when multiple monitors are attached. I’ve been waiting months for this to be fixed and no joy. If you have a computer with more than one monitor you should not buy this because it will not work.

I really love this app! The information it provides is excellent and provided very inexpensively when compared to all of the services out there! More people need to give this app it’s due. I am hoping that the developer continues to update this, as I would be lost without it! At one time I was having issues with the OS X app. I did an uninstall and reinstall and have since had no issues! The developer is really friendly and responsive when asked support questions. Love the beauty and the information this application provides. I feel like a broker when I run it full screen! Absolutely amazing, beautiful and informative at the same time!!! Keep up the GOOD WORK!!! Highly recommended!!!
